A complete set of big end bolts suitable for 4.0 and 4.6 liter Rover V8 engines. The big end bolts on 4.0 and 4.6 Rover V8 engines are stretch bolts, and should always be replaced in the course of your engine rebuild or refresh.

The bolts supplied here are stretch type.
Torque each bolt to 20NM on the first pass, then turn through 90 degrees. It can be useful to mark the head of each bolt with a paint pen to keep track of which ones have been turned and ensure they have been turned far enough.
We use Loctite on all the fasteners in the bottom end of the engine. A small precaution, but you don't want anything coming loose later on.
